THE RANGE AT AUSTIN and its associates reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders in their sole discretion.

RISK OF LOSS
All items purchased from THE RANGE AT AUSTIN are made pursuant to a shipment contract. The risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.

However, THE RANGE AT AUSTIN does not warrant that product descriptions or other content of this site is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. If a product offered by THE RANGE AT AUSTIN itself is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it in unused condition. By visiting THE RANGE AT AUSTIN, you agree that the laws of the state of TEXAS, USA, without regard to principles of conflict of laws, will govern these Conditions of Use and any dispute of any sort that might arise between you and THE RANGE AT AUSTIN or its associates.
Any dispute relating in any way to your visit to THE RANGE AT AUSTIN or to products you purchase through THE RANGE AT AUSTIN shall be submitted to confidential arbitration in TEXAS, USA, except that, to the extent you have in any manner violated or threatened to violate THE RANGE AT AUSTIN’s intellectual property rights, THE RANGE AT AUSTIN may seek injunctive or other appropriate relief in any state or federal court in the state of TEXAS, USA, and you consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in such courts. Arbitration under this agreement shall be conducted under the rules then prevailing of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitrators award shall be binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, no arbitration under this Agreement shall be joined to an arbitration involving any other party subject to this Agreement, whether through class arbitration proceedings or otherwise.
SITE POLICIES, MODIFICATION, AND SEVERABILITY
Please review our other policies, such as our Shipping and Returns policy, posted on this site. These policies also govern your visit to THE RANGE AT AUSTIN. We reserve the right to make changes to our site, policies, and these Conditions of Use at any time. If any of these conditions shall be deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that condition shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition.
These policies and procedures are in place to protect not only ourselves, but our country. We feel prudence demands we hold our customers and ourselves to a higher standard and if it is found a customer does not meet or exceed any of our policies or procedures we will gladly refund their class fee minus a transaction fee and recommend another training organization. In these troubled times, we feel it is better to err on the side of caution. Your understanding and support is greatly appreciated in this manner. The Range at Austin (TRA) reserves the right to change, update or alter our policies at any time and without having to notify individuals or groups.
TRA reserves the right to refuse business or services to any individuals or organizations without providing an explanation. Final approval for attendance is at the sole discretion of the TRA staff and is non-negotiable.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to recent events, we will be requiring more stringent student credentials to participate in any training class we provide. Failure to complete the application will result in an application being returned and non-enrollment. It is the responsibility of the student to ensure we have all the appropriate material to verify the credentials. Failure to do so could result in denied enrollment or delayed enrollment. Training class are limited to United States citizens who meet the appropriate criteria.
- Provide any valid state Concealed Weapon Permit (C.C.W.) [issuing state must require both state and federal background check for approval.
- Any active duty member of the United States Army, Air Force, Marine Corps, Navy, Coast Guard, Merchant Marines, National Guard or Reserves.
- Any active POST certified Police Officer, or Federal Law Enforcement Officer, or any honorably retired, after ten years’ service, state or federal police officer.
Payment, Refund and Cancellation Policies
The Range at Austin reserves the right to change or alter our class fees or payment policies at any time and without notifying customers. These policies are strictly followed to ensure the highest quality of training. We will train regardless of global tensions or under any weather conditions and therefore will not issue a refund because of circumstances outside of our control.
- All class registration fees and outstanding balances must be paid in full prior to the first day of class.
- To guarantee your enrollment the full class registration fee will be charged upon submission; which includes a 30% non-refundable deposit.
- Those wishing to pay with a purchase order, please contact our Training Department for approval and further instructions via email at: email@example.com
- For any cancellations please contact our Training Department via email at:firstname.lastname@example.org
- Speaking with The Range at Austin personal by phone or other means does not qualify as an official notice.
- We must receive this email from the same email address used to register with or we will not honor the request.
- Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of class registration fees.
- Cancellations greater than 10 days from first day of class will receive a full refund minus the non-refundable deposit.
- Cancellations less than 10 days from first day of class will forfeit their registration fee and non-refundable deposit. Upon request the student may receive a credit voucher good for 12 months from the original class date minus the non-refundable deposit.
- Students who voluntarily dis-enroll from training after training begins forfeits their whole class registration fee and non-refundable deposits.
- Students who are dismissed from training due to safety risks will be prorated their class registration fee minus the non-refundable deposit.
- Training class seats are limited to a first come first serve basis.
- Once our class maximums have been reached no further students will be admitted.
- Students may apply for our standby list in case of an opening or other contingencies
- Stand by students will be giving 24 hours to confirm attendance or forfeit their position to the next name on the standby list.
- In the event The Range at Austin has to postpone or cancel a class due to circumstances beyond our control, a new class date will be provided in a timely manner (usually 10 business days).
- We reserve the right to postpone or cancel classes at our discretion.
- If the student cannot attend the new class dates, then a credit voucher will be issued equal to the class registration fee good for one year (12 months) from the new class convening date.
- If the student wishes to cancel then a full refund minus a $50.00 transaction fee shall be issued.
The Range at Austin reserves the right to remove and if necessary eject from training any student who represents a danger to himself or the class. Failing to follow cadre instructions, safety rules, class protocol or conduct deemed unsafe or unbecoming will result in the immediate removal. In certain circumstances, students may be placed on an administrative hold pending a review of their actions or inaction before returning to class. Students who are ejected from training will be asked to leave immediately. The Range at Austin follows an Operational Risk Management (ORM) policy regarding safe training practices and student to instructor ratios. Each evolution is evaluated, hazards identified and assessed with controls implemented to ensure the safest training possible. Some controls may include students being pulled from evolutions that are beyond their skill and capability and are at the sole discretion of the cadre.
Please be aware that airline logistics and other modes of mass transportation are becoming very time consuming and difficult, so please plan accordingly. We are not responsible for logistical mishaps, such as but not limited to missed flights, inclement weather, mechanical problems or late departures. You have our sympathy, but regrettably we cannot do anything with regards to refunds. We can only issue a training credit good for twelve months from the original class date. The certificate is 50% of the class registration fee and is not transferable to anyone other than the original party. This credit is good for any other class of equal or lesser level we conduct.
